The music on this brief album/EP is wonderful instrumental symphonic prog that touches on several major influences but never sounds derivative. Maybe a more direct and less new-agey take on Happy the Man would be an apt description. The major focus is Spada's guitar work, which is strong in terms of feel and tone. There's technique to be sure, but not a hint of overplaying to be found. Keyboards provide a solid basis for Spada's work, and also step out to lay on a melodic solo line of their own every once in awhile...Overall, this is a solid slice of American symphonic prog.
