Kebnekajse (as they currently spell it) culled their name from Sweden's highest mountain peak, some 2014 m above ocean level, but slightly dwindling because the glacier on the top is melting away due to the global warming. Kebnekajse is still playing. Resa Mot Okant Mal (Voyage Into The Unknown - something...) was their debut album and always regarded their best. Mainly instrumental, but still describing and imaginative. Deep frozen northern swedish tundra rock. Heavy guitars, strange vocals -and a rhythm section rolling along like a runaway train.
