WINNER of the Premio MEI for the best debut album in 2009 Prog. The band of Trieste after 10 years of hard work has succeeded in integrating the sound very unique and unrepeatable of the best symphonic Pink Floyd with the immediacy of modern music. The music propose that Proteus is a step forward in search of the new Prog at the turn of the years 70/80 and the new musical vein of 2000, which clearly occurred in the well-established musical phenomena (Muse, Porcupine Tree, etc.). The technicality of the musicians and the mastery of the recording make it a really nice hard for everyone. Perhaps this is what puts them out. And even individual songs, most of which exceed five minutes in length, are accessible, enjoyable and interesting even after several remaining intriguing listen, for putting the entire work to be appreciated in detail, and discover something new again time finding himself able to sing the refrain.
