The Neapolitan singer Gigi Pascal (real name Giancarlo D'Auria) has had a long career as a solo artist in pop music. Like others, he became involved with the birth of the phenomenon of rock bands in the early '70s, creating one with the curious name of Pop Compagnia Meccanica. They released a single album in 1973 that sounds like it was recorded three or four years before.
