PPRY is a Finnish Progressive rock band, once known as PROJECT, having recorded "Name Stolen" in 1993. There's a lot of mystery about this band, which corresponds pretty well to the music. The songs titles linked together form a mysterious sentence, beginning with "At the brink of madness, the procession forms...". "Raising The Skeletons Of Fire By Hand" (Musea, 2008) may well be brought near PINK FLOYD, and musical gimmicks also used by ELOY: long compositions based on intense, haunting and dark atmospheres, floating sounds and lively (Analog) keyboards parts, wild electric moments and melodious guitar soli, sense of slowness and sonic experiments... But PPRY has its own identity, including a specific "Scandinavian touch" in sound experiments and dreamy, nostalgic atmospheres. An intense, brilliant album! (Musea)
