What a long-forgotten treasure!!! Contraction entered Montreal's Studio Tempo during the winter of 1974, in order to participate in CKVL-FM's radio series "Performances". Forgotten for 35 years, the recording is rediscovered in 2009. Included in this performance is no less than three previously unreleased tracks: "Solid Shine", "Le Temps fuit comme une ombre", and "Sagesse". The band interprets several pieces from its first album with an energy that surpasses that of the original studio recordings, and share a work in progress which would become the title track of their second album, "La Bourse ou la vie". As a bonus, the instrumental studio version of "Sagesse" is also included here. Essential for Contraction fans! (ProgQuebec)
