Kotebel’s second album, “Mysticae visiones”, released by Musea last year, received a real critical acclaim: this spanish band had re-discovered the secret of symphonic rock music, a perfect synthesis of classical and rock music. “Fragments of light”, Kotebel’s new album, is pure magic! Ezrawinston and Outer Limits’ lovers will be delighted by these ethereal female vocals and flute parts, these complex harmonies and rhythm changes, the keyboards’ virtuosity… The keyboardist Carlos Plaza remains the main composer, helped this time by the guitarist Cesar Garcia. Kotebel’s main influences are the classical composers Debussy, Ravel and Gabriel Fauré, and the progressive bands of the “golden age” (Yes, Genesis,…). An incredible music!
