As described on Musea website: “VERSUS X (Guitar-vocals, keyboards, bass & drums) performs an elaborated, complex and refined progressive rock. Their eponymous album issued in 1994 can sometimes remind of the best groups of the golden times of Progressive rock (KING CRIMSON, EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER, CAMEL...). As for the vocals, they are sung by a vocalist whose voice is close to the one heard in ANYONE'S DAUGHTER. Arne SCHAEFFER's band truly explodes two years later with "Disturbance", a true success of the genre, but also an indispensable album of the 80's! With such a known title , "The Turbulent Zone" (2000) can only be shown as an example of the great influence that VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR & Peter HAMMILL had on the musical writing of VERSUS X”.
