Pale Acute Moon was created by the famous keyboard player Motoi Semba, already with Teru’s Symphonia and Kennedy, but also with the pop band Shonen Knife. The band includes guitarist M.Imamura, a female singer and a rhythm section as well. “Newtopia” is one of the famous masterpieces of Japanese progrock. Motoi Semba’s classical training allowed him to compose an exceptional neo-classical music, mostly instrumental, illuminated by bombastic keyboards (featuring incredible piano parts) and acid guitar solos. Eight bonus tracks are included.
