Franco Cerri is the most popular Italian jazz guitarist, and AMS is proud to release this incredible solo effort dated 1972, originally released on the Italian Music label (Dalton, Piero e I Cottonfields). Playing with names like Gorni Kramer; Django Reinhard, Chet Baker, Gerry Mulligan, Billie Holliday, Lee Konitz, Modern Jazz Quartet and others, Franco Cerri became a leader in the Italian and European jazz world. This solo effort combines great melodic instrumental jazz, with a complete orchestra as background that should appeal both estimators of high class instrumental jazz and also lovers of the symphonic influenced Italian prog scene of the seventies. This reissue is a faithful reproduction of the original LP artwork and also features 9 bonus tracks recorded by Franco Cerri in 2004.
