This is the third and latest CD of the series "Music of the Spheres", which main objective is to provide melodious atmosphere to help in different healing therapies, relaxation, meditation and devotional practices. Portraying the Earthly element, Marcus Viana added new instruments such as tablas, Indian and native flute, cello and percussion, besides the traditional acoustic and electric violins that became a trademark of the composer. New keyboards and sampler sounds add the final touch to a record that goes from baroque to contemporary music, without losing the spirit of peace and lightness. The CD TERRA although being extremely useful for therapy, is not just another New Age CD. Here, the music flows free from labels and distinctions passing through the classic to the ethnic influence with great unity. TERRA and ACQUA (the first of the series) together with AERE and IGNIS make up a collection about the four elements of nature and its correlation with the subtle and invisible life of the planet. The photos of the cover show a scenery of Serra do Cipó (Minas Gerais state) which were taken by the photographer Alfeu Trancoso, a specialist in photographing nature.
